Duct assembly

Suspension of round ducts:

Suspension using steel cables (steel cable in a colourless PVC cover) is used to install round ducts. With textile ducts, the customer receives a set of assembly elements (fig.2). Each ordered duct is supplied with steel cables of a length equal to the length of the duct + 3 m. If it is necessary to use cables of a different length, please specify this fact when placing your order.

The method of duct installation

The ends of the steel wire rope are mounted on hooks or eyebolts set in two opposite walls of the room. One end of the line should be attached to a holder on the wall. Fix the other end using a turnbuckle and tighten the cable. (Fig.1) For ducts longer than 5 m, vertical joists should be used every 4-5 m in order to maintain a stable level of duct suspension along the entire length. After carrying out the described steps, the textile ducts should be unpacked and hung using snap hooks. In the case of ducts consisting of sections, remember to fit the sections in such a way that they can be joined together using sewn-in zips. Place the initial section of the textile duct on a sheet metal part of the air supply system and secure it against dropping using a steel clamping tape. At the customer's special request, it is possible to provide a system for fixing the ducts using stainless steel slings.
