Textile Ducts

Horizontal ducts

Permeable ducts ATOLVENT KTP

The basic aim of textile ventilation systems is to ensure the supply of processed air in order to maintain the right room temperature. An additional advantage is to ensure air exchange while meeting strict hygiene standards. It is also important that the use of material ducts ensures the elimination of the effect of draught in the occupied zone, as the supply takes place on its entire permeable textile surface. As a result, we obtain a low level of the supplied air stream speed - below 0.2 m/s.
At the same time, ventilation ducts are an advantageous solution from the point of view of maintaining an even distribution of the supplied air. Unlike traditional steel air ducts, which only work in their close vicinity, textile ventilation systems allow to eliminate the negative influence of elements that impede the flow of the air stream - such as pillars, trusses, shelves, etc. The air flows out through the entire surface of the material.

In order to increase the airflow and the range of the air stream in a certain direction, we introduce additional perforation in the form of rows of air vents. The air is supplied through holes with diameters from 5 to 25 mm. The number, diameter and arrangement of holes are selected individually. Manufacturing in laser technology ensures perfect repeatability and finishing of ventilation elements.

Impermeable ducts

Ducts made of impermeable materials are described as:

  • ATOLVENT KTN transport ducts

  • ATOLVENT TNC/P ducts, described below

Perforated ducts ATOLVENT KTN/P

Textile ventilation systems of this type are made of coated polyester materials with water-resistant and watertight characteristics. The air output is realized through holes with diameters from 5 to 25 mm. The number, diameter and arrangement of holes are selected individually for each project. Thanks to the use of laser technology we obtain perfect repeatability and finishing of elements. Perforated textile ducts can be used in any type of room, both for distributing warm and cool air.

Unique advantages:

  • possibility of free and precise shaping of air intensity in individual zones

  • wide range of colours

Material ducts with nozzles

This type of textile ducts can be available in both permeable and impermeable materials. They are particularly suited to high rooms, where they have to be led above 4.5m and supply air needed to heat the hall. Through the nozzles, we intensify the flow of air, additionally directing it e.g. downwards so that the air inflow zone covers also low hall levels.

Transport ducts

They are made of impermeable textile materials intended to transport air through rooms or parts of the facility where no air supply is required. Together with other ventilation solutions it allows to create a coherent system of air distribution in the facility, divided into individual zones.

Semi-circular textile ducts

In special cases (mainly in low rooms) it is possible to use semi-circular textile ducts as shown in the pictures below. Textile ducts available in our offer are a guarantee of maintaining high quality of ventilated air (temperature, acoustic parameters). By choosing an appropriate colour matching the room's styling, material ducts become practically invisible. Textile ducts for ventilation are best used in public utility rooms (shops, offices) because they provide almost laminar air flow - below 0.2 m/s. An investment in textile ventilation systems is profitable due to an attractive price, quick installation and high quality of our fabric products.

Advantages of semi-circular textile ducts:

  • possibility of installation in low rooms

  • even, laminar airflow

  • possibility to choose the colours

Application: offices and public utility rooms.

In the case of large diameters (above 630), it is recommended to install on the basis of ceiling mounted tracks. In the case of up to Ø 560, it is sufficient and easier to mount semi-circular textile structures using detachable two-sided Velcro fasteners.
